Welcome to Buffy’s Artistic Creations
Buffy is a self-taught autistic wildlife artist. Specialising in soft pastel and charcoal, she draws a wide range of animals but has a particular interest in endangered and vulnerable species. Working in the style of Expressive Realism, she combines careful observation, dynamic mark-making and selective detail to capture the character and presence of each subject.
Being part of the wider artistic community is an important part of Buffy’s creative journey. She is a member of the Walsall Society of Artists and the SAA, as well as being part of the Outside In community. These connections provide opportunities to exhibit and share her work, meet fellow artists, exchange ideas and continue developing her practice, while becoming increasingly involved in the wider art world.

Taking part in art demonstrations and workshops is another important part of Buffy’s creative practice, giving her the opportunity to share the techniques and approaches she uses in her own work. Her sessions are friendly and informal, with an emphasis on making art approachable and enjoyable, whether you are an experienced artist or simply curious to try something new.
For details of when and where you can see Buffy, take a look at the Where to See Me page to find upcoming demonstrations, workshops and other opportunities where you can meet Buffy and see her work in person.
